Jimmy Griffin and Mike Smith  ascended to the 400m mark after the elusive 4 wheeler track that loomed above in the heavy snow filled air.  The ghost of the chute perched above the two AGB operators as they endured sliding slopes with loose till, fast moving wildlife and carnivorous blackberry bushes all the way to the top.

Atop the knoll, the fading view of LaVale glimmered in the valley and the light faded quickly.  The drop in was sketchy and narrow.  The two riders plumetted a 600 ft vertical drop onto a logging road.  The snow was nice and the ride was most definitely worth the hike.  Mission Accomplished!
